No one likes having any type of headache, and migraines are 100 times worse, but I’ve got some great remedies for you!!

Headaches come in all sizes, so it is beneficial to learn what type of headache you have, such as tension, cluster, allergy, etc., which will enable you to better fight it off. Thankfully, as there are many types of headache and migraine, there are even more ways to fight them!

Stones

Some great stones to use for headaches and/or migraines are:

  1. Sodalite
  2. Amethyst

Place on forehead to aid in pain relief.

Essential Oils

Essential oils (EO) are also great for helping alleviate the pains of a headache.

  1. Lavender
  2. M-Grain
  3. Peppermint
  4. PanAway

Detoxification

Sometimes our bodies just have an overload of toxins from the world around us, and this build up of toxins can also contribute considerably to chronic headaches, fatigue, muscle aches, and more.

There are many ways to detox your body.

  1. Dry Brushing
  2. Detox Baths: epsom salt helps relieve headaches
  3. Trigger Point Therapy: this is good for those referral and/or tension headaches
  4. Oil Pulling
  5. Lympathic drainage/Massage: this helps release the lactic acid build up in your muscles, easing pain, stiffness, and headaches. Try massaging your own face as well, especially if you are feeling swollen in the nasal passages. Running your fingers over those swollen passageways can push out toxic buildup and ease your breathing.
    1. Massage lotion: mix together coconut oil with essential oils and massage over area that needs relief (temples, nasal passages, forehead, scalp, etc.)
